My visit to BARCELONA!

Barcelona... Barcelona... Barcelona... How I miss you already. So as you can tell I visited Barcelona for a weekend and it was great. I stayed in a small town called Glories. The people there are lovely and makes the effort to speak English so you don't feel lost, I didn't travel by myself but it helped. As we got to the hotel in the evening we decided that we would go for dinner across the road from us in the shopping centre where they have a mixture of clothing stores and restaurants. As they say "When in Rome" So I said when in Spain you have to eat Paella; a seafood paella to be exact and it was amazing. I always think that whenever you go to another country you have to try things that are native to that country or you just won't be able to get a full experience of what that country is like. We then stopped by a sports bar on our way back to our hotel that surprisingly was ran by Chinese people who spoke Spanish well. It was a lovely little place and the drinks there were very inexpensive.

Torre Agbar- This is said to be one of the tallest buildings in Barcelona. I must say it was beautiful to look at when the lights were turned on.

So being that I love football so much and I was in the city of one of the world's greatest football team FC Barcelona, I thought that it would be a good idea to visit their home ground. Before I continue I feel that I should let it be known that I'm an Arsenal supporter, I have been and always will be. Fair is fair you have to give credit where it's due and Barcelona have dominated European football in recent years so I wanted to see what their supporters saw. So I spent an afternoon over by Camp Nou and it's a good sight indeed. I also went to browse in their sports shop which was a lovely place for supporters to get anything Barcelona. Overall it was a good day.

This was just the view from the main entrance of Camp Nou.

This monster of a building is called La Sagrada Familia. Apparently the construction of this Cathedral started in 1882 and it's not expected to be completed until 2026. It is an amazing sight to say the least; so it'll be on my list of places to go to on my next visit.
On my last night in Barcelona I went for dinner and I wore this beauty from River Island.

So overall Barcelona was a charm. I'll definitely be going back, by the grace of God. So feel free to leave a comment down below about your experiences of travelling and the places that you'd love to visit.

COMPANY MAGAZINE'S BLOGGERS STYLE THE HIGHSTREET 2014

Company Magazine's Bloggers Style the High Street event on the 30 October 2014 was definitely an event not to miss for all you budding Bloggers out there, especially if your quite new to the world of blogging like myself. It was a good event to meet other bloggers and the socialise with the people behind some of the upcoming brands. Most of all it was a great event for getting the chance to view some of the New lines by companies like ASOS, Oasis, Primark, River Island and many more. It was a chance to see how other bloggers styled pieces from the different lines ready to hit the runway. I must say that all the pieces for every company had something different about them but I had a few favourites; River Island being one of them and the line by Primark was for me the big surprise of the night. So a big well done to all the bloggers who worked with the companies to put the pieces together.

The turn out on the night was excellent!
This was my look on the night.

NEW HAIR! ! !

Hey guys I've got a new hairstyle... Yaay... And I love it!

The lipstick that I'm wearing is by Revlon it's in their super lustrous lipstick collection and it's called Black Cherry.

So I decided that I couldn't go without a hairstyle any longer so I went for one of my old favourites, it's called a pushwave ( In Jamaican terms) and the name is quite self explanatory but just in case your wondering what my hair dresser used to created this master piece. It took alot of gel, two combs, weave and an hour underneath the hairdryer. Another reason why I love this look is because it reminds me of the 1920's and I have a thing about style in the 1920's. Women were so feminine and everything about them was so elegant. So I decided to do a modern version of a 1920's hairdo.

It can be done with you natural hair but I'd rather not because I want it to last for long and I don't want to run the risk of breakage with my natural hair. I always try to put two different colours in my hair when I do this hairstyle because it gives it a great effect. People always stop me and ask me so my questions about my hair so I thought I'd share it.

Short & quick!

WHITE SLEEVELESS JACKET River Island / BLACK SHIRT Primark / WHITE TROUSERS Small boutique somewhere in London / TRAINERS Addidas / GLASSES River Island
So this was the look I sported to my Godson's birthday party; I literally just put together this monochrome look to avoid wearing all white ... Because children + Pizza + white = stains and is never a good combination. So I could have Swapped the black for white and vice versa, but why? When life is all about taking risk. Well on this occasion I got away with it, thank God. No need to pull out the vanish (stain remover).

So now that autumn is coming in the normal procedure would be to go for a new hairdo that consist of mainly long hair, but I've been so busy recently with my studies and life itself that I'm just craving a short hairstyle. Short and quick is how I like it... My hair that is.. It saves so much time in the morning when you don't have to do much with your hair and beat the morning rush hour. So maybe my next look will feature a pixie cut, who knows. Lets see where the autumn wind blows me.
